Bach for Everyone: the 2-month free concert series has started
Posted by Budnews · Sep 23, 2020

The largest event series of free classical music in the Carpathian Basin is held for the 6th time.

We didn’t have many programs this year: most festivals were canceled or postponed due to the coronavirus epidemic. This happened to Bach for Everyone Festival too, which, thankfully, is being replaced this fall.

Bach for Everyone Festival is the largest series of free classical music events in the Carpathian Basin, which is, of course, built around Bach's oeuvre. The festival lasts for more than two months, but the exact programs are only published a few days or a few weeks in advance, as it would be risky to plan ahead due to the epidemic, so it is worth checking the newly announced concerts regularly on the official website.

And one more thing, why we highly recommend to participate if you can: in addition to the free programs, the organizers also put emphasis on charity, we have the opportunity to support the Hungarian Child Rescue Foundation.

When and where?

This year, we can meet Bach's music in more than 100 settlements in the Carpathian Basin from 16 September to 31 December.
