This award has a long history Europe-wide and is known for its prestigious values. Founded to acknowledge and award the work of the best professionals in the fashion industry, Fashion Awards Hungary during its 10 years in Hungary has been warmly welcomed among professionals and the public as well. The main goal of the award and the connected events, like the gala is to help the best talents in fashion, which can motivate the whole awakening fashion world of Hungary.

The award in each category goes to that talent who has been voted on the most times by the recognized professionals of the fashion industry. The following categories are represented: Female Model of the Year, Male Model of the Year, Young Fashion Designer of the Year, Fashion Designer of the Year, Fashion Photographer of the Year, Stylist of the Year, Fashion Blogger of the Year, Make-up Artist of the Year, Hairdresser of the Year. In 2014 a special category has been created: For the Hungarian Fashion Award, which has been devoted to Tamás Király, our beloved, internationally known fashion designer, who was murdered in his home last year.
