English songwriter, guitarist and everybody’s favourite ginger-haired singer Ed Sheeran is quite popular in Hungary, too, so their local fans must be totally crazy about the news that he is coming to Budapest next Summer.

A couple of days ago, he was confirmed as the first headliner for the next Sziget Festival, so his highly anticipated concert show will finally happen on 7 August 2019.

This summer, Sziget was visited by more than 500k festivalgoers as the event welcomed headliners Kendrick Lamar, Dua Lipa, Gorillaz, Lana Del Rey, Mumford & Sons, Kygo and Arctic Monkeys among the 1000+ artists to perform.

Next year’s Sziget Festival will take place between 7-13 August on the Hajógyári island.
