It’s all we ever wanted: let us introduce winepops
Posted by Budnews · Aug 15, 2017

Better than spritzer, and thousand times better than an average ice cream!

Ice cream made of wine or champagne has conquered the world years ago. By the time we were accustomed to tasting so special flavors, here comes another craze. In addition, from Hungarian concept owners. DiVino winery and icepop maker Anjuna bring their best and they presented the winepop!

The idea of frozen wine comes from the wine shop, and Anjuna Ice Pops made the dream happen. They introduced the Summerwine collection some weeks ago and we can’t get enough. They made 4 different flavors, but the glory is not only theirs, the winemakers themselves have also actively participated in the final taste of ice pops. They offered the wines primarily based on their intensity and with a lower alcohol content (3-6%) and told the main fruity aromas of each wine.

The four tastes of Summerwine collection are:

Homola Winery - 100% Balaton: Apricot - white wine ice pop. Approximately 3% alcohol content. The white wine, which is the basis for this ice cream is made from Riesling, pinot blanc, Pinos Gris and tramini. Citrus flavor makes the apricot even more lovable, while the acid of the wine preserves the refreshing freshness.

Miklós Csabi - Királyleányka: Orange - white wine ice pop with fresh strawberry. Approximately 3.5% alcohol content. Flowering, light white wine in ice pop form with a small orange twist and adorable real strawberries. Fresh and dangerously tasty!

Dúzsi Tamás Winery - Strawberry rozé ice pop. Approximately 6% alcohol content. Rose spritzer as you haven’t tried yet: red berries, strawberries and wonderful exotic spice; concentrated flavor and alcoholic strength. Want some more.

Bolyki Winery - Egret Bikavér: Forest fruit Ice pop, with Colombian Dark Chocolate covering. Approx: 3% alcohol content. The crunchy chocolate covering on the upper third of the ice cream is a perfect complement to the endless fruitiness. Irresistible.

As all Anjuna ice pops, Summerwine collection is also milk-free and gluten-free. They do not use glucose syrup and can also be consumed by vegan dieters. One ice pop contains approx. 84 kcal calories - far less than the traditional ice cream of a similar size. However, because of the alcohol content, we recommend it only for people over the age of 18 and you should not sit behind the wheel after consuming one! And yes, you see it well. This means that during ice cream preparation, the fruity nature of the ice cream was preserved, but also the flavor and the alcohol content of the wine! So take care and cheers!
