Eldorádó: where street food, Hungarian cuisine and international tastes unite
Posted by Budnews · Oct 2, 2017

Street food has no secrets to you? Well, the market hall at Rákóczi square has something to show.

Market halls are not only for grannies seeking for cheap egg and cabbage. In the past few years markets of Budapest have evolved a lot: better, wider services await. Most tourists know only Central Market Hall at Fővám Square, but we have more, exciting option in this field. Now we recommend the one at Rákóczi square, not just because of its atmosphere, but because a new street food place has opened there: Eldorádó.

This could be a chop house, a street food place or a show kitchen, but it's really hard to classify Eldorádó. Even though the venue would predestine it, not only fried chicken and chop can be found on Eldoradó's menu. Gumbo chicken with rye rice, roasted paprika gazpacho and tuna salad with English celery: that’s what they have – and many other dishes of course. This spot is a real must-see, even so because street food, Hungarian cuisine and international gastronomy all leave their mark on the dishes.

"We are open to the special flavors, things people haven’t heard about before and they dare to ask" – explained the owner, Balázs Kun.
