A special, unmissable opportunity is coming to Budapest!

It has been swiftly spread on social networks that Sting and Shaggy will give a free concert in Budapest, and for now it’s sure: the news is true! The two world stars will be brought to our country by Szerencsejáték Zrt., the Hungarian lottery company on the occasion of the birthday of one of the games.

The two world starts are on tour now in Europe, and they undertook a last-minute show here, in Budapest. Sting and Shaggy's joint album, entitled 44/876 (refers to Sting's English and Shaggy's Jamaican telephone dialing code) came out in 2017. In addition to the new songs, they’ll also play old hits on the concert such as Shaggy's Mr. Bombastic and It Was not Me or Police’s Message In A Bottle and Every Breath You Take.

Sting, the principal songwriter, lead singer, and bassist for the new wave rock band the Police, has received 16 Grammy Awards, including Song of the Year for ”Every Breath You Take”, three Brit Awards, including Best British Male in 1994 and Outstanding Contribution in 2002, a Golden Globe, an Emmy and four nominations for the Academy Award for Best Original Song as a solo musician and a member of the Police. Shaggy, the Jamaican musician, singer, DJ and former United States Marine is best known for his hit singles "Oh Carolina", "Boombastic", "It Wasn't Me", and "Angel".
