Gourmet festival

Everything your eyes and taste buds could desire. May 12-15, it’s a must.

The renewed Gourmet Festival will be held again this summer and I’m unspeakably happy about it. This event is the essence of the developing and thriving domestic gastronomy. Gourmet Festival showcases Hungary's best restaurants, wineries and artisan food products the same time and place. With more than 100 exhibitors, including Michelin stared ones and most of the top restaurants of the capital and the rural settlements, Millenáris Park is a place really worth visiting. These three days offer a great opportunity to learn and experience the very best of the traditional and contemporary Hungarian gastronomy.

In addition to the delicious food there will be several programs as well. My favorites are the workshops and tastings with celebrity chefs (workshop topics are: The creative baker, BBQ Basics, Radically different vegetable dishes, Fish demolition, Cattle from head to toe, Making truffles and everything about chocolate) and we can also meet the Hungarian Bocuse d’Or team. And of course, if you're already there, try the new food and drink specialties, visit the traditional and new wave confectioneries and chocolate manufacturers, gourmet shops and taste the indispensable artisan food products. Will be so good.
