Statue of Bud Spencer unveiled in Budapest

The 240 cm tall bronze statue of the late actor was inaugurated at Corvin walk on 12 November. Read on and take a look at the statue.

 

Bud Spencer and Terence Hill have been extremely popular in Hungary, probably that’s why there is even a statue inaugurated lately to commemorate the late legend, Bud Spencer. The 240 cm tall bronze statue of the actor – born Carlo Pedersoli – was created by sculptor Szandra Tasnádi was inaugurated on the Corvin walk on 12 November.

Just to emphasize how great the interest for the event was, we must mention that there was also a Facebook Live Stream from the ceremony.

Daughters of the actor, Cristiana and Diamante could be present as guests of honour at the event, where Cristiana Pedersoli said that the statue reflected the real personality of her father: a big man with a big heart. She added she was sure that her father was looking at the statue from heaven. Diamante Pedersoli thanked everyone who was there at the inauguration, and she said that their father would have been very grateful to everyone for their presence.
