Deák square:

This place is the heart of the city: literally every tourist visits Deák Square. This special horserace day is the best-known and most visited outdoor event in Budapest on New Year's Eve. On the last day of the year Kincsem Park awaits with exciting races, classy horses, concerts and a bustling mood. The main reason of the popularity of the event is its nearly twenty-year tradition, the race of actors and athletes, the excitement of horses and betting, the great prizes and the great party.
