Tamas Takacs, member of the elite global group of concierges, Les Clefs D'Or, proved that for him there is no guest request he cannot deliver. He answered the e-mail in 15 minutes and when the writer arrived in Budapest at 5pm, he already had an appointment at a charming dentist who fixed his teeth by 8:30pm.

So Mr. Takacs undoubtedly deserves being named the concierge of the year.
