Lili Király, a 23-year-old girl became well-known in 2014, when she won the Miss Balaton beauty contest. Lili has been working as a model ever since. She’s been spotted by a photographer at a model agency’s casting in Istanbul, and was advised to represent Hungary at Miss Diamond of the World international beauty contest.

The contest was organized in Georgia between 15 and 25 December and she only posted about it on her social media profiles when she knew the final results. ‘It's time to finally share a great experience with you. I participated in my first international beauty contest in recent weeks, in Georgia. I didn’t want to publish it, until then there was no end result, I was afraid a bit. I didn’t expect it, but I won first place. For me this was the most beautiful Christmas present this year. Perfect closing of the year and a better start! Miss Diamond of the World 2017. Happy new year for everyone!’ – she wrote.

35 women were competing in the beauty contest this year. The second runner-up of Miss Diamond of the World 2017 was Esin Terzioglu from Cyprus, and the first runner-up was Arsine Misirian from Armenia.

The beauty queen told nlcafe.hu that she has always wanted to compete in an international contest, but she was quite surprised when she found herself in the Miss Diamond of the World 2017 beauty contest.
