According to Forbes.hu, Haggenmacher Palace will be transformed into a luxury hotel soon.

The building under 52 Andrássy Avenue is the so-called Haggenmacher Palace. It was planned by Henrik Schmahl and built in 1886. Until recently, it used to be the deposit library of the Metropolitan Ervin Szabó Library and gives home to the well-known night club Hello Baby Bar, but not long ago, the building was sold to the entrepreneur trio Sándor Csányi, István Garancsi and Zsolt Hernádi.

Forbes.hu reports that the palace was sold for 269.9 million forints and according to the current plans, the building will be transformed into a luxury hotel, just like the company’s other project, Hotel Moments.

The old library can be a great accommodation for luxury-seeking tourists because it is quite spacious – close to 3000 square meters –, and the location is also perfect.

Hello Baby Bar announced on Facebook that their opening hours will not be affected by this business agreement.
