Day of Hungarian Bath Culture will be organized again – these are the details

Everything will be about baths and bathing on the second Saturday of October.

I don't know what you're thinking about the spa and bath culture, but for an enthusiastic hot water fan as I am, the second Saturday of October is a real feast. This is the Day of the Hungarian Bath Culture, one of my favorite days of the year. The purpose of the event is to draw attention to the fact that, although the beach season ends with the summer, bathing is possible throughout the year not only in your own bathroom. Did you know, for example, that there are nearly 200 spas in Hungary that are open all year round and offer indoor services?

This year's main venue will be the Király Bath, where guests are even invited to watch theatrical productions beside the guided tours. There will be felting, Turkish bazaar, Turkish music, belly dance production, and the historic spas (Széchenyi, Gellért, Lukács and Király Baths) will also organize free guides where visitors can get acquainted with the bath itself.

With the event on October 12, they would like to draw attention not only to the Hungarian spa culture, but also to the fact that we can swim, regenerate, heal and enjoy the water experience and thematic pools, slides throughout the year.
