Christmas Light Tram is here again

You can jump on and enjoy the ride with a normal BKK ticket or pass, and some more good news: the Light Tram’s schedule is already available, as well – let us show you.

When December is approaching, everyone in Budapest is waiting for the Light Tram to bring some light into the dark nights in the city. This year – already the seventh of its operation –, on 29 November, the specially enlightened vehicle started to ride again, and this year you can try it on several lines.

As we have already mentioned, this year, the Light Tram rides on several lines, between 29 November and 5 January.

The schedule will be the following:

On Sunday, Monday and Tuesday, it will operate on Tram line 2. On Wednesday and Thursday on Tram line 19 and on Friday either on Tram line 47 or 49.

On Saturdays, it ventures on other lines. On 30 November, it moved on Tram Line 42 and 50 and on 7 December, on Tram Line 14. The following Saturday is 14 December, you can spot it now on Tram Line 62A. On 21 December, Tram Line 14 comes again. On 28 December, Tram Line 59B and on 4 January, Tram Line 69.
