Sziget wins ‘Best Overseas Festival’ in the UK again

After last year’s triumph, Sziget took home this award from UK Festival Awards in 2019, too.

Sziget Festival is a well-known music and art festival, not only in Hungary, but also in the world. And it is not the first time that the event received an award but it is a very important recognition: at the UK Festival Awards, Sziget received the award for ‘Best overseas festival’ for the second year in a row.

In the category compiled by experts and voted for by the public, Sziget overtook its rivals, notably Altitude Comedy Festival, Pol’and’Rock Festival, Afro Nation, Snowbombing and Tomorrowland.

If you can’t wait for the first performers for next year’s Sziget, don’t worry, we will know the first wave of next year’s line up in January. We are sure that some big names will be announced very soon, as usual. ;)

You can already purchase your pass for Sziget Festival 2020, but if you would like to be more informed before, check out http://szigetfestival.com .
