3 things to enjoy in Budapest after the lockdown restrictions
Posted by Mia Balogh · Jun 4, 2020

There are so many experiences waiting for us in Budapest again – here are our top 3 favourites.

Although some precautions are still necessary like wearing a mask in the shops and also while using the public transport, life is slowly but surely returning to our capital. Check out our ‘happy list’ with the top 3 activities we all can enjoy again in Budapest.

1, Rooftop bars – What about a nice drink above the city? You can have one (or two) with your family, friends or colleagues in several rooftop bars: for example St. Andrea Wine & Skybar, The Sky Garden Rooftop Terrace and High Note SkyBar are already open.

2, The Castle District awaits – The open-air archaeological site in the Castle District in Buda can be visited for free again, and the themed Buda Walks are also being relaunched, in Hungarian – We Love Budapest writes. But if you would like just to take a walk in the Castle District and taking some photos, never mind, it is a highly anticipated experience on our list, as well. ;)

3, Chill in the City Park – If you love the outdoors, and prefer meeting friends for example in the City Park, well, you also have the possibility to chill out there on a blanket or to have a small picnic together. Bring your dogs, too, they will love it out there.

What we really miss, is all the music programs, concerts and festivals we won’t have for a while now but we really hope to enjoy these again one day, hopefully quite soon with our loved ones.

What are the top programs and activities on your list that you can’t wait to try in Budapest? Write us in a comment. And don’t forget to share our article, so your friends will also see that life is returning to one of the most beautiful cities in the world – Budapest. ;)
