Two young Hungarian guy made it to the “30 under 30 Europe” list of the business magazine Forbes.

The American Forbes magazine publishes a list of the most successful talents under 30 each year. But it’s the first time that the almost 100-year old magazine made a list about young Europeans under 30. And there are not one, but two Hungarians on the first European list. The editors were looking for those young European people who are worth paying attention to, in 10 categories. Such big names are on the list as the Grammy-winner singer Adele, the tennis player Novak Djokovic, Sebastian Vettel racing driver and the Nobel Peace Prize laureate activist Malala Yousafzai. And István Lám and András Takács from Hungary.

István Lám is the CEO of one of the most dynamically developing Hungarian startup, Tresorit, who finished in the top 30 in technology category. The Tresorit IT Company is working in the field of secure file sharing with huge success (like a super-secure dropbox), implying significant international attention.

András Takács, who is the director-producer of the “On the spot” documentary series has been acknowledged in media category. The series is known for its intimate reporting style: András and his wife, Eszter Cseke shoot their documentaries for seven years with only two small cameras, without a crew. Some years ago they won Golden Nymph award for Best Documentary at the Monte Carlo TV Festival.
