Tom Hanks came back to Budapest

The world-famous actor arrived to Budapest once again with the Inferno staff to re-shoot some scenes.

Remember that last summer the entire city gone mad, because Hollywood actor Tom Hanks shot his latest film, the Dan Brown adaptation Inferno in the Hungarian capital? (Read our report here). Now, the team returned for a few days. The director of the blockbuster movie, the two-time Academy Award winner Ron Howard was unhappy with some of the scenes taken, so he decided to fly back to Budapest and record them again. And according to the news, Hanks was happy to come back because he had a great time in Budapest last year.

And if they’ve been here, a bit of fun could fit into the job. They visited one of the Hungarian Michelin-star restaurants, Borkonyha, and they didn’t try to keep their incognito. Tom Hanks and Ron Howard made selfies with the restaurant staff, which they posted on Facebook with the comment: ‘Professor Robert Langdon is searching for the Holy Grail in the Borkonyha’. The place is close to Erzsébet Square in the popular tourist zone, where it is easier to mingle because of the crowd.

The result of the repeated filming is in theaters from October 28.
