Are you brave enough to close your eyes?

Brave locals and tourists who dared to do so were rewarded the following way at Vörösmarty Square.

Vörösmarty Square is one of the buzzing spots of Budapest where there is always something interesting to see or to do: you can meet old and new friends, interesting people, or enjoy a nice Christmas market (not yet, of course).

Recently, the square was the location of an interesting experiment: JoyHunters, a group of creative high school students stopped some locals and tourists there and asked them to close their eyes – only for a minute. Those who were brave enough got a special reward: lots of compliments were showering on them.

Of course, everyone was smiling and all of the smiles were documented in the following video – you can also choose English subtitles:

The main goal of JoyHunters’ experiment is to show everyone how important is to tell others all the positivity we see in them. The group thinks that people should remember the moments when they were praised by others, and they should do the same with others, in addition to feeling happy about simple things in life – like for a nice compliment.
