5 program tips for Women’s Day in Budapest
Posted by Mia Balogh · Mar 1, 2017

Do you spend Women’s Day in Budapest? If yes, let us give you a few tips, where to go, what to do – with your partner, friends or even alone.

Pop, Swing and Soul

Music is international – like Women’s Day on 8 March. So if you would like to have an amazing concert experience, let us suggest you to participate at Pop, Swing and Soul in Müpa in the evening before Women’s Day. At the concert, three divas – Vera Tóth, Gabi Szűcs and Eszter Váczi – will enchant you with their talent and fantastic songs. The show begins at 7:30 pm on 7 March.

Zorán and his Women’s Day concerts – not only for ladies! ;)

If you know some Hungarian artists, you must have heard Zorán’s name and some of his songs. Did you? Well, if his melodies have touched you heart, we have good news for you: he is on tour right now and will have some special Women’s Day concerts – not only for ladies, evidently. ;) Let us give you two concert dates in two towns (we hope that at least one will fit your schedule) – 6 March in Dunaújváros and 8 March in Szekszárd.

Are you open for some magic?

Magic is everywhere. You can find it in a good meal, in a baby’s smile or in a woman’s beauty. And of course you can see illusionists bring you some magic from time to time, as well, like Dr. Gábor Szabó G. – he will present some of his great card tricks in Napfényes Restaurant at Ferenciek Square on 8 March.

Russian Ball

The 9th Russian Ball will be organized a few days after International Women’s Day, on 11 March, but still in the spirit of this important date (and of course praising the ladies). Don’t miss the ball if you are not a big fan of feminism, because we are sure that you will enjoy this evening anyway. Multinational company of guests, nice meals, good drinks and a multicultural arts event will be waiting for you and this year, for the first time ever, there will be Tatarian artists invited to make the show even more colourful.

Fitness, wellness

Don’t feel like going out for a concert, the show of the illusionist or the Russian Ball? Than let us suggest you some pampering – what about some wellness in Budapest? Spend the afternoon and the evening in a bath, a spa, like for example Mandala Day Spa, or choose to spend your afternoon in a fitness centre where you can enjoy the sauna, hot tub or a massage, as well, like in Oxygen Wellness Centres. Make it a ladies’ night with the girls or a nice experience with your partner, it will be a memorable day anyway.
