Hungarian designer’s concrete furniture conquered America

People of Miami can relax in the new-generation concrete armchairs of IVANKA.

It is really rare that a Hungarian brand succeeds in conquering America, but we are now reporting such a story to you. It happened that the Hungarian designer brand IVANKA has come to great success. IVANKA launched its newest concrete design product family, the QTZ Concrete Edition at Design Miami in 2016, and it seems, the hard work payed off. People can enjoy their unique concrete furniture from now on at two venues in Miami (Miami Design District and Wynwood)!

The QTZ collection has been designed by Alexander Lotersztain, Argentinian born Australian designer and manufactured by the urban element division of IVANKA. The shaping of the objects was born by the naturally occurring forms and crystallization process of quartz. The development of the concrete edition resulted a 4-element modular seating collection with table and footrest accessories – including the brand-new member: QTZ Lounger without headrest – robust and practical with muted design gestures, in contrast to the iconic QTZ Lounger ‘throne’.
