Red panda arrived in Budapest Zoo

The newest addition to the colourful brood of the zoo is a male red panda who arrived here from Germany, hopefully to find love with the lonely female red panda of the zoo.

Once upon a time there was a lonely red panda girl in the Budapest Zoo who felt that true love will never find her. But one day, all of a sudden, the miracle happened to her: she found a young red panda man in her cage.

This is how the fairy tale of the lonely red panda girl of the Budapest Zoo would begin, according to us. Aurora, resident of the zoo for many years, recently got a new companion, a one-year-old male called Bendegúz.

Now everyone is hoping for a happy end, or at least a happy summer romance so they could not only have fun together but also have cubs. And this would be a very important step in trying to save this endangered Himalayan species.
