Terézváros (one district of Budapest) Municipality made a big decision and closed the service roads of Andrássy út on the section between Vörösmarty utca and Rózsa utca from car traffic, and turned the area into a community space from 5 August to 18 October.

According to the announcement on the official website of Terézváros Municipality, it isn’t possible to drive or park a vehicle on the service roads between Vörösmarty and Rózsa utca, and cars that remained on the said section will be removed from the site.

On the closed section, the municipality created a community space and a promenade, where street benches, restaurants and cultural events take place. We can see a selection of the best works of ARC exhibitions of previous years, portraits of residents and works by contemporary artists. Worth checking out!
